Health and beauty
No more batteries with rechargeable hearing aids.
Another long winter is behind us and spring is coming to an end. Soon summer will bring longer days, warmth, and remarkable changes in our natural environment.
I’d like to start with a reminder of our organization’s mission:
“Réseau FADOQ brings together and represents people age 50 and over, with the goal of maintaining and improving their quality of life.
The network advocates for their rights, celebrates their contributions, and supports them with programs, services, and activities.”
FADOQ – Région Estrie organizes a number of activities to promote active living among its members, including walking, cycling, pickleball, trips, and much more. Please check our monthly newsletters and website for more information about your favourite activities. I also invite FADOQ members to check their club’s calendar for activities that will help them make the most of life and spend time with others.
All FADOQ – Région Estrie activities aim to reduce loneliness, and summer gives us tons of opportunities to spend time with family and friends, have fun, and enjoy the outdoors.
In order to remain consistent in ensuring good quality of life for its members, Réseau FADOQ is conducting a survey. The results will be published in September 2019. We are continuing our efforts with various levels of government to improve quality of life in health institutions, CHSLDs, and seniors’ residences. And we are working hard on home support and assistance for caregivers.
Réseau FADOQ currently has over 520,000 members, including 36,526 in Estrie. If you’re not already a member, I invite you to join this powerful group. Together we can make a big difference.
Happy reading and have a great summer.
