Leisure and events

The introductory program is designed for people who want to discover the sport of rowing in a safe and supervised environment.

Participants learn the basics on land using rowing machines, then on the water in stable and comfortable beginner boats equipped with temporary floats for added stability (if needed).

At the end of the program, rowers can join the Les Sportifs or Les Maîtres programs.

This program is offered in partnership between the Sherbrooke Rowing Club and FADOQ-Région Estrie, with financial support from Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) and Sports Canada.
