The well-treatment of the elderly – Laurentians

We are looking for a logo illustrating the concept of The well-treatment of the elderly – Laurentians. 

There is currently no such logo representing the Laurentians region, therefore it is a new project and a unique creation!

General information

  • The logo must be submitted before the deadline of March 26, 6pm at the following email address: bientraitance@fadoqlaurentides.org (any submission received past this date will not be considered).
  • The jury committee will evaluate all the submitted logos and contact the winner by email.
  • All participants will be informed of the jury’s final decision by email.

Once your registration is complete, you can send us your logo as soon as it is ready to: bientraitance@fadoqlaurentides.org

Participation criteria

All participants must be at least 50 years old or work as a team with other younger members (a proof of age will be asked when the logo is submitted).

If you do work with other people, we kindly remind you to respect all sanitary restrictions in order.

Logo criteria

The logo must include:

  • The full name: The well-treatment of the elderly – Laurentians  (the word Laurentians can appear on another line, under the full name, in smaller letters). If desired, it is also possible to submit an abbreviated version along with the original one.
  • The colour purple, which already represents the awareness against elderly bad-treatment.
  • The use of complimentary colours is allowed.
  • The logo must be submitted in JPG or PDF format (supplementary formats of the winning logo will be required).

Important – for the winner

  • Once the winning logo is chosen, it is possible that a few adjustments will be asked.
  • The winning logo will have to be provided in PNG, PDF, JPG as well as the original file format (ai, eps, indd or other).
  • The English logo will need to be adapted to also provide a French version.
  • A standard guide for the use of the logo will be available in order to facilitate the appropriate use by all of our partners and the general public.
  • The Table de concertation régionale des aînés des Laurentides (TCRAL)    will have ownership of the logo and will be able to use it on any platform for an unlimited period of time.
  • The winner will receive a prize of an approximate value of $200 (a basket of local products).
  • Three (3) finalists will receive a prize of an approximate value of $75 (a basket of local products).
  • All prizes are not exchangeable or refundable, they must be accepted as they are offered.

A logo is a graphic that represents a brand or a company, it is a symbol. The logo is also an essential means of identification and communication for any business. Indeed, it is a very important element of modern visual communication and which makes it possible to stand out.
