Réseau FADOQ is the largest seniors’ organization in Canada, with more than 550,000 members, 790 clubs, 16 regional groups and nearly 4,700 volunteer boards members. With a long and successful history that spans half a century, the network is just as vital as ever, especially given the aging population in Quebec.

FADOQ – Région Outaouais

Becoming a member of FADOQ – Région Outaouais means adopting a positive attitude towards life and ensuring that well-being for seniors is a priority in Outaouais. Our mission is to reduce loneliness among people age 50 and older by offering physical, intellectual, social, leisure, and outdoor activities to help them maintain their independence for as long as possible. With 15 affiliated clubs and over 23,000 members in Outaouais, we have a strong public presence, good media representation, and a host of activities for members. We are linked to Réseau FADOQ, 16 regional groups, and over 535,000 members across Quebec, and have access to decision makers and parliamentary committees. FADOQ has a broad range of expertise and is committed to promoting seniors’ rights. Over the years the network has been involved in the Guaranteed Income Supplement, the Senior-Aware program (abuse and fraud), the Qualité Logi-Être program, which helps ensure quality of life for seniors (housing, health, poverty, and intergenerational households), advocating for shoreline property owners, and much more.
