FADOQ launches its new brand image

On May 28, FADOQ officially launched its new brand identity. A new logo, new colors, and a new signature — bringing a refreshed and modernized image to our great organization as it continues to evolve alongside you.
Our new image is much more than just a logo. It is rooted in our history, our culture, our personality, and our diverse range of services. Our new signature — faire rayonner la force de l’âge (showcasing the vitality of aging) — reflects the power of numbers: all those people aged 50 and over brought together within one organization, FADOQ. The goal? To give them the opportunity to shine, highlighting strengths that are not quiet, but active and engaged.
Join a strong, active, and engaged community today, and let the strength of age shine with us.
A meaningful new logo
The logotype has been redesigned. FADOQ is now written in uppercase letters, expressing both our pride and the stability of our organization, while also showcasing our confident identity. Our new logo features a radiance symbol—its shape evokes a sun, a star, or a compass. It represents vitality, openness, and collective momentum. It reflects both the richness of lived experiences and the diversity of stories that make up FADOQ.
More than a slogan
The new signature — faire rayonner la force de l’âge (showcasing the vitality of aging) — fully embodies our mission. It is both a promise and a direction. The strength of age lies in years lived and wisdom gained. We are hundreds of thousands of people—individuals of experience, action, and passion. Together, strengthened by our differences, we help move Québec forward, united by the desire to keep contributing and inspiring. And slowing down is not an option—we want to keep shining.
An updated vision and mission
This new brand image is accompanied by an update to our vision and mission. We aim to be an essential pillar in the lives of Quebecers aged 50 and over. We aspire to create a society where everyone enjoys an optimal quality of life and where their dignity is respected. We enrich the lives of Quebecers aged 50 and over, support them, and safeguard their autonomy by defending their rights, organizing engaging activities, and increasing their purchasing power.
Our pillars
This repositioning does not change how our organization operates. We continue to function on three independent levels: provincial, regional (our 16 regional offices), and local (our more than 680 clubs). Firmly grounded in our foundations, our offerings continue to adapt and evolve to meet the interests and realities of today’s 50+ population.
Four key areas that guide all our actions:
1. Discounts and privileges
We have more than 80 provincial partners and over 1,000 across Québec, offering discounts and a wide range of benefits designed to improve our members’ daily lives.
2. Leisure
A variety of activities through our 16 regional groups and more than 680 clubs—cultural, sports, social, and recreational—as well as events and travel opportunities to encourage active aging and social connections. One of our main goals is to get 100,000 people moving every week.
3. Advocacy for collective rights
We take action with decision-making bodies to defend the overall well-being of people aged 50 and over and ensure their voices are heard in public debates.
4. Information and awareness
Programs and resources to inform, equip, and raise awareness among our members about issues affecting various aspects of their lives.
A revamped magazine
Our magazine Virage, distributed in nearly 500,000 copies, and its website have also received a makeover. With a revitalized editorial line and a redesigned layout by KO Média, it fully aligns with our desire to project a more current brand. More than just a refresh, Virage adopts a strong identity: modern, bold, and in tune with the realities of today’s 50+ generation. For this first revamped issue, FADOQ’s magazine makes a strong impression, featuring none other than Martin Matte on the cover.
