After a brief historical overview of the contribution of Italian immigration to life in Quebec, we will explore Little Italy, or Piccola Italia as it’s known to locals. There, we’ll discover landmarks such as Casa Italia, the Church of Our Lady of Defense (Chiesa della Madonna della Difesa), the Milano food market, Dante’s hardware store, Caffè Italia, and the Jean-Talon Market.
