A new policy to govern the management of disputes
At FADOQ, we are committed to providing our members and everyone who participates in our activities with a healthy, safe, and respectful environment.
With this objective in mind, the Dispute Management Policy was adopted to establish a clear, impartial, and equitable framework for addressing disputes that may arise in connection with activities recognized by FADOQ.
The policy applies to interpersonal or organizational issues that do not involve physical or psychological integrity. A dispute may take the form of a disagreement, tension, conflict, or a difficulty related to the application of, or compliance with, FADOQ’s rules, policies, or practices.
It applies to members and individuals involved in FADOQ activities, including those within local clubs, regional groups, and the provincial organization.
An approach focused on finding solutions
The policy promotes a progressive approach that encourages listening, collaboration, and the pursuit of solutions. Depending on the situation, various avenues may be considered, including informal resolution, mediation, or, when necessary, an internal resolution process.
Complaints are received and assessed for admissibility by Alias Reporting Line, an independent, neutral, and impartial external resource mandated by FADOQ.
Anyone may use the designated platform to file a complaint.
