50/50 raffle: a new car for our grand winner
What a wonderful surprise for Robert Gendron! Thanks to ticket C-249641, he won $262,752.50 in our provincial 50/50 raffle on March 18.
This member of FADOQ – Québec and Chaudière-Appalaches Regions will move up his plans and purchase a new car.
Mr. Gendron had bought 10 tickets for $20, but he certainly didn’t expect to win such an impressive amount. It’s the kind of news that can truly brighten someone’s day.
Not being an avid traveler, this retired public sector worker will use his winnings to reassess his housing options, considering a possible move.
For now, he mainly wants to treat his loved ones and increase his donations to certain organizations that are close to his heart — a gesture that truly reflects his generosity.
When asked what he knows best about FADOQ, he immediately mentions the many discounts, and he also plans to attend the FADOQ 50+ Fair in his region, scheduled at the Québec City Convention Centre next October.
A story that proves a draw can sometimes deliver the most pleasant surprises.
