Behaviours, attitudes, or words that are generally deliberate and repetitive and have the effect of making the other person uncomfortable; controlling, humiliating, or isolating them; or damaging their integrity, reputation, or self-esteem.
This may include insults, shouting, accusations, blame, threats, ridicule, disparaging or discriminatory remarks, sexist jokes or comments, and remarks or insults of a sexual nature.
Social bullying can have far-reaching consequences and a long-term impact on people’s lives. If you are the victim of bullying, don’t try to go it alone. Talk to someone you trust.
