Anti-fraud strategy: a step in the right direction
FADOQ welcomes the federal government’s announcement regarding the implementation ...
Here are five fun and classic activities to enjoy with your grandchildren to celebrate Halloween:
Scoop out the pumpkin, draw funny or spooky faces, and carve out the shapes. Adults can handle the cutting, while children can draw and remove the seeds.
You can even roast the pumpkin seeds with a bit of salt for a homemade Halloween snack.
Hide candies or small Halloween items (like plastic spiders) around the house or yard, and give simple clues to help them find the treasures.
Choose spooky stories that are age-appropriate and read them in a cozy, dimly lit setting — illuminated only by pumpkin lights or battery candles. Encourage everyone to wear their costumes to make the atmosphere even more festive.
Bake mummy-shaped cookies using icing for the bandages, “witch fingers” with chocolate-covered pretzels and an almond as the nail, or “haunted fruits” like clementines decorated to look like tiny pumpkins.
Create simple decorations such as ghost candies (wrap candies in a white tissue, tie with an elastic, and draw a face), bat garlands, or yarn spider webs to hang around the house.
Happy Halloween!
