If you’re eligible for the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) and you haven’t done your 2019 taxes yet, Réseau FADOQ would like to remind you of the importance of filing your return as soon as possible to avoid losing out on your benefits.
More than 63,000 seniors could have their GIS benefits suspended as of January 1 if they do not file their tax returns in time. If you have not already done so, file your income tax as soon as possible to save yourself a lot of grief.
