The FADOQ’s major sporting and social event is just around the corner! From September 22 to 24, more than 1,200 participants from the 16 FADOQ regions across Quebec will gather in Saint-Hyacinthe for the 33rd edition of the FADOQ Provincial Games, presented by Les Producteurs de lait du Québec.
Over the course of three days, athletes will compete in a friendly, spirited and inclusive atmosphere. Eleven disciplines will be featured: pocket baseball, billiards, running, darts, golf, ten-pin bowling, shuffleboard, pétanque, pétanque atout, candlepin bowling and pickleball.
As the name suggests, the FADOQ Provincial Games are the provincial finals. To qualify, athletes must first have participated in the FADOQ Games in their region.
In addition to the official competitions, two demonstration disciplines will make their debut this year: walking soccer and cornhole. A great opportunity to discover these activities and give them a try during the event.
In addition to the competitions, the FADOQ Provincial Games will feature an opening ceremony and a festive evening, providing an opportunity to recognize the athletes’ commitment, celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship and enjoy a festive gathering.
This edition will also be a special one for Saint-Hyacinthe, which will host the Provincial Games for the first time in more than 25 years, following the 1993 and 2000 editions.
All competitors will be eligible for a draw to win a trip for two to Tunisia, courtesy of Celebritours. The winner will be announced during the opening ceremony.
The FADOQ Provincial Games are proof that there is no age limit when it comes to competing, challenging yourself and, above all, having fun!
